Blackheads make our face look dull and textured but here are a few simple DIY’s that you can follow to get rid of them completely!
1 – Egg Mask: Break an egg in a bowl and separate the yolk by taking a bottle and placing it on the yolk, press it gently, and release till the yolk is separated from the white. Apply the egg white on blackhead prone areas and then place a tissue over it. Go over the tissue with another coating of the egg white and then allow it to dry. Repeat this process on all the blackhead prone areas of your face. Wait for about 10 minutes and peel off the tissue. Try this powerful solution to extract blackheads and brighten your face! 2 – Charcoal Mask: If you are too tempted to pop that whitehead or a blackhead, don’t! Instead, try out this super effective peel-off strip. All you need is 1 tbsp of activated charcoal, 1 tbsp of gelatin powder, and 2 tbsp of water. Add water to the gelatin, mix well, and microwave it for about 15 seconds. Now, pour the mix into the activated charcoal and stir until you get a smooth paste-like consistency. Charcoal reduces the oiliness and cleanses the skin from deep within. Gently scrub your nose and the area around it following with an even application of the mask. Wait for about 10 minutes or until it dries out completely. Gelatin binds all the dirt, impurities, and a thin layer of your skin together. So when you peel it off, it acts as an exfoliator to reveal softer, newer skin!
3 – Gelatin Mask: Pesky pores, blackheads, and whiteheads often form a cluster around the nose and cheeks. Finding a solution to get rid of them every now and then can sometimes get really overwhelming. All you have to do is heat a quarter cup of milk for about 2 minutes and add 2 tbsp of unflavored gelatin powder. Mix well and apply when its a little warm. Gelatin reduces dark spots, pigmentation and helps remove blackheads and whiteheads. Wait until the mask dries on your face and then rinse.
4 – Cold Therapy: Here’s another cool tip that you can follow to make your pores appear smaller and achieve a flawless base throughout the day. Rub an ice cube on the areas where you have open pores to tighten them and control excess oil production. Now, choose a mattifying primer that has silicone in it for an even finish. By doing this you are filling the open pores without actually clogging them.
You can now go ahead with your makeup and try these remedies to banish blackheads for good!
